COSA is a Working Club
C.O.S.A. is a group of individuals who enjoy the pleasure and skill of flying sailplanes (gliders).
A "working club" means that everyone participates in supporting the club and the member whose turn it is to fly. Additionally, each member contributes whatever skills he or she may have to support club operations.
The club flies primarily on week-ends and holidays with some members going to the field during the week when the soaring is particularly good. C.O.S.A. operates year round weather permitting. Cold weather and snow on the ground does not stop student training.
